July Roundtable: Police Substation Opening

Monday, July 21, 2025, 5:30 pm until 7:00 pm
170 Main Street, Greenfield, MA 01301

Our July Roundtable is round two of the great conversation we hosted last September with the Greenfield Police Department, about the return of the downtown Police Substation. Our Roundtable discussions bring together business owners and stakeholders to discuss the needs and values of Greenfield, and we are looking forward to this next installment, as the Substation begins operations.

We will be joined at this Roundtable by GPD Officers Megan Cloutier and Zoe Smith, who comprise the Community Impact Unit. As with our Roundtable on the topic last fall, Officers Cloutier and Smith are on hand to answer questions and share their vision for the renewed police presence in downtown, which has already had a beneficial impact on the streetscape.

The Greenfield Business Association is a strong ally and advocate for the business community across our small city, and our work is strengthened by the knowledge and communication provided directly by the business stakeholders, including developers and property owners. We need to grow, and we need to be smart and informed around that growth.

We hope you'll join us, whether your business is located in this corridor or not, for a robust discussion aimed at actionable steps and ideas that the GBA can support. We've had great success in business districts around town, and are looking forward to bringing the conversation to bear on this critical return!

*We also welcome resident groups and neighborhood stakeholders interested in talking about the businesses in the area, and providing constructive thoughts and feedback for the district.
