GBA fundraising for Holiday Lights

Many many years ago, when the downtown holiday lights were not going to be put up due to budget cuts, the Greenfield Business Association came to the rescue. Since then, each year the GBA coordinates with a decorating company to light-up the holidays of our community. The cost of the lighting is taken on by local merchants and community members through pole, or recently, star, sponsorship. As the season starts, the GBA gets the lights up and has faith that the community will support them and the holiday spirit they bring to our downtown. Some years, the GBA breaks even through sponsorship, and other years, like this one, we don’t. Now, as the holiday season is winding down, we are appealing to community members and businesses who enjoy having the lights, to help us fill in the gap to break even - and continue lighting up the holidays in the future.

Our needed goal with this appeal is $1700. To donate, please make checks out to the Greenfield Business Association “Holiday Lights 2018” and drop-off at our office at 395 Main St or mail to PO Box 898, Greenfield MA 01302.
