A State of Employment Discussion with MassHire’s Maura Geary & Penni Menard
Join the Greenfield Business Association and MassHire Franklin Hampshire Career Center’s Executive Director Maura Geary and Lead Business Service Representative Penni Menard for a State of Employment Forum on MAY 24 at 5:30 pm via Zoom.
Maura and Penni will explore the impact of COVID-19 on Franklin County’s labor market. They will present key unemployment, industry, and demographic data, and will share strategies to help our local employers recover and build toward a prosperous future for people and businesses in our region.
MassHire Franklin Hampshire Career Center (MHFHCC), is a dynamic team of workforce professionals who improve employment outcomes for job seekers and employers in our region. New Executive Director Maura Geary has been part of the MassHire system for 13 years, as a collaborative leader and strategic project manager at the Hampden County Workforce Board. Lead Business Services Representative Penni Menard brings 25 years of private sector expertise to the “Biz Team”, which partners with local employers to customize outreach, hiring and retention strategies.
The GBA is hosting this event as an opportunity for employers in the region, and Greenfield in particular, to meet and get to know the team at MassHire and the resources they provide for our city’s employment community.
