Looking for a holiday outfit? Meeting friends for a cuppa? Shopping for the perfect gift? No need to go further than your local small business!

The Greenfield Business Association encourages you to keep your holiday dollars local! Support the local businesses you love and you give more this holiday—you spread your holiday cheer further by sustaining the local economy. Spending local brings economic well-being and vitality to our city as it supports entrepreneurs, keeps neighbors employed, and puts food on our community’s tables.

Local brick-and-mortar shops give back, too. According to American Express, 67 cents of every dollar spent in a small business stays in the local community, and SCORE found that small businesses donate 250 percent more than larger businesses to local nonprofits and community causes.

Small Business Saturday has become a holiday shopping tradition dedicated to supporting all kinds of businesses — from the corner store, to your favorite local restaurant, to your neighborhood comic book shop — and everything in between! Capturing at least some of the shopping activity between Thanksgiving day to Cyber Monday, this year on November 26, is crucial to the success of small businesses.
