For the first time in our history, the GBA is going to have a home in Greenfield, right on Main Street. Thanks to the support of our partners at Cohn & Company, Greenfield Community College, the City of Greenfield, and Franklin County CDC, we will soon be located at 278 Main Street, suite 204, better able to connect with our business community and make ourselves available for in person connection, support, and information sharing. We move in August 1st and will establish office hours beginning September 1st. We need a little time to decorate!
Thank you too to our big picture sponsors - Greenfield Cooperative Bank, Cartelli Toyota & Ford, Franklin Community Co-op, Freedom Credit Union, Gagne Wealth Management, Greenfield Savings Bank, Bob Cartelli's The Body Shop, Coca-Cola Northeast, Common Media, Franklin County's Y, Patriot Care, Prosperitea Planning, and PV Squared, for their invaluable support of our growth this past year, allowing us to achieve this milestone well ahead of schedule.
And to all our Business Members, who value our organization and participate in its enduring ability to provide support and opportunities for them, we cannot do it without you!
With marketing dollars and a broader network - we will be sharing all the happenings. Consider a special, a sidewalk sale, an offering that we could add to the schedule and shout about near and far. This event is aimed at bringing people to you AND getting them to return; we'll provide some ways to bring folks back - printed coupons, postcards, etc. Help us talk this event UP! Let's make Greenfield the place for Vintage YEAR-ROUND!!
Join us for our next Vintage Days Meetup! Catch the Vintage Vibe - YOUR business has something to offer.
One of the BEST things about being part of the GBA is the connections you build with your fellow businesses in and around Greenfield. Support each other by sponsoring and attending the amazing events put on by our business community. You can find some of these opportunities on our website, along with Sponsorship Information, and you can also find events to attend on VisitGreenfieldMA.com, our partner site hosted by the City of Greenfield.
Pop over to read about current opportunities to get involved, ranging from financially supporting our amazing Farmer's Market, now in it's 50th Year, to running a Stephen King themed special this September during the Stephen King Film Festival at the Garden Cinema, to being a part of OFF THE COMMON, a free music festival put on by Hawks & Reed, designed to coincide with the ArtWalk hosted by Madhouse Multi-Arts.
There is a TON happening in Greenfield, so PLUG IN! Help draw more people to town, and to your business. Have something you'd like us to add to the website?! Send it our way! We are happy to post the events and efforts of our Members, and connect you with each other to build the buzz!
If you haven't taken advantage of this Membership perk, you're missing out! Come on "Bear Country in the Morning" with Kevin and Hannah, and talk about your business. Whether you have an event coming up, a special announcement, or just want to get your business name out there more - the Bear County listeners would love to hear it. We can record around your schedule and the spot will air on a Tuesday morning. Listen to previous spots HERE!
This has been a request from business owners for some time, and the GBA is looking forward to working closely with the Greenfield PD and Maria Burge, their new Community Liaison, on how the downtown police presence can have a calming, beneficial impact on our downtown businesses, and those nearby. Meetings between the GBA, Maria, and Greenfield PD have begun, and we will be offering a Business Community meeting soon! Keep your eyes here, and don't hesitate to reach out with questions, concerns, and ideas.
The downtown substation is working quickly to open its doors and we'll be sure to share updates here and on our social media!
