Aimed at diving deep on specific topics, opportunities, and business neighborhoods - our Roundtable conversations are the BEST way to get to know your fellow business leaders and make your voice heard.

The GBA is here to advocate for your needs, and support the healthy redevelopment and growth of Greenfield - and the more we hear from YOU, the more effective our advocacy can be. Come share your perspective and opinions, hear about how to get involved with Greenfield events and marketing efforts, and work with us to restore Greenfield as the heart of Franklin County.

ROUNDTABLE RSVP

Upcoming Speaking Engagements

Join us for two opportunities to hear from GBA Director Hannah Rechtschaffen this month:

The February "I Love My Job" Chamber Breakfast panel on Friday, February 14th just wouldn't be complete without Hannah - who could talk all day about the Greenfield Business Association, her background in arts-based economic development, and all things creative placemaking. Not sure what that means? Come to the Breakfast!

On Friday, February 28th, Hannah will give a talk for the LAVA Center's Envisioning Committee and interested business owners and residents, entitled "Hey! That's My Town." An exploration of Greenfield's pending evolution and a return to the positive: what it takes to reclaim our sense of place and pride.

And just for fun, if you feel like showing a little support to the south - Hannah will be performing at 'Big Love, Little Performances 3.0' on February 13th in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hampshire County, an event generously sponsored by fellow GBA Sponsor, Greenfield Savings Bank. GBA Personnel Updates and Announcements

The Greenfield Business Association is thrilled to welcome two new Board Members to the Board this month - Kate Carter of PV Squared Solar [Brittany Hathaway, alternate], and Rich Calhoun of Outer Limits Cycle and Ski.

We are grateful to our outgoing Board Members Garry Longe of GCTV and Mike Ekblom of WRSI and the Northampton Radio Group.

We are excited to announce the addition of not one...not two...but FIVE GCC Interns, joining us this semester to work on everything from marketing to event outreach, administration to resource research. Be on the lookout and help us make them feel welcome in the Greenfield business community! Our thanks to David Brown, Z Zinter, and Judy Raper at Greenfield Community College for working with us to bring five great interns to the GBA.

Interested in how an intern can help YOUR business? Email David Brown for more information.

Calling All Property Owners

The GBA is reconvening a Property Owners & Landlords Cohort, to create a more consistent opportunity for visioning, communication, and support. There are big projects on the horizon in Greenfield - from a redesign of Main Street to housing development - and engaged property owners and landlords are a critical part of our healthy redevelopment and growth as a small city. We hope you'll join the many property owners who are already part of the GBA--grow your involvement with us, and with the strong community of property owners here in Greenfield.
