A Ghoulishly Good Reason to Come Downtown on Friday, 10/31!
Get ready for a fang-tastic night in downtown Greenfield, with costumes, laughter, creativity...and of course, candy! It's the Greenfield Rec Department's Annual Halloween bash - Friday, October 31, from 4:00 - 7:30 PM!
Family-friendly festivities include start at 3:30 p.m., with a FREE showing of It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown the Greenfield Garden Cinema. Then it's time to hit the sidewalk for Trick-or-treating with participating downtown businesses from 4:00 - 5:30 PM. Grab a free bag on the Common and look for the special event pumpkin posters in participating business windows!
The Rag Shag Parade will commence at 5:30 PM at Mohawk Mall, heading down to Energy Park, led by the Greenfield High School Marching Band. The parade welcomes all costumed children, adults, and dogs, and it topped off with a costume contest in Energy Park, with PRIZES for:
Alongside Greenfield Recreation’s activities, the Franklin County YMCA is partnering to offer children and parents a spooktacular family fun night from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Halloween night. All activities, including gym games, inflatable obstacle courses, spooky swim and trick-or-treat, are free and open to the community.
It's truly a night of spooky merriment, and this year it's on a FRIDAY! Don't miss it!!
