2019 Downtown Trick-or-Treat
The GBA and Greenfield Recreation Department are pulling together this year’s Downtown Trick-or-Treat and Rag Shag Parade for Halloween day, October 31st! The event kicks-off with Trick-or-Treating from 4:00 pm -5:30 pm all around downtown. The Rag Shag Parade follows at 5:30 starting at the Mohawk Mall parking lot marching to the Energy Park for costume judging. Prizes are awarded in multiple categories. It’s a frightfully fun-filled evening!
GBA Board members will be visiting downtown businesses soon to introduce our new Coordinator, Rachel Roberts, and hand-out flyers to businesses that want to participate in the Trick-or-Treat event. Businesses post these flyers let to customers know they will be part of the Trick-or-Treat event.
AGAIN this year: We are inviting Greenfield businesses located outside of the downtown corridor to participate in the Trick-or-Treat event! Space will be available for a limited amount of businesses to set-up a table or place for Trick-or-Treat donations at the Common. Businesses usually pass-out candies, but some give out rocks, coupons, salty snacks—there are plenty of options! Early registration is recommended (to help us figure out space needs). We hope you’ll join the fun!
